We are a small family business based in Bozeman Montana USA. Originally we started this website to support my work in the laser industry, supplying software and electronics for automating laser systems for industry and research.

As avid gamers and music lovers, we were very excited when the Rock Band game came out, but quickly disappointed when our guitars broke. We soon learned that we were not alone and there was design flaw in the original guitars that virtually guaranteed that the strum switches would fail within a few weeks of play.

As an electrical engineer I knew how to fix it, and so the Strum Fix was born.

Fast-forward and over a decade later and we are still designing and making kits to fix and improve Rock Band guitars.

And now (it’s late 2025 as I write this) we are fulfilling a dream by designing and making our own guitar, allowing us to design it as we wish, instead of having to make things fit into someone else’s design.
