StrumFix/Guitar Compatibility

Almost any version of the Strum Fix will fit in most official Rock Band guitars, but some guitars require a special adapter to fit properly. Be aware that the name of the company that manufactures the guitars has changed over the years, and official guitars may be branded as “Harmonix”, “MadCatz”, or “PDP”.

NOTE: All StrumFix’s share the same compatibility — so if a guitar is compatible with the StrumFix Plus 2, it will also be compatible with the Strum Fix Plus 4, or the DUO.

Compatible Guitars

Any Rock Band 1, 2, 3, or 4 Stratocaster. No adapter required.
Any Beatles Rock Band guitar (Hofner, Gretsch, Rickenbacker). No adapter required.
Jaguar* - requires the JAG adapter.
Fender Precision Bass* - requires the PBA adapter.
Telecaster* - requires the TCA adapter.
PDP Riffmaster* - requires the RFMA adapter.
Solid-body, wood Fender Rock Band guitar* - requires the WFA adapter.

A “*” denotes guitars that require an adapter.

Guitars that are NOT compatible:

Rock Band 3 Pro “Mustang” guitars.
Any Guitar Hero branded guitar, including the Xplorer.
CRKD Gibson.
