StrumFix Plus 5 DUO

$35.00

NEW PRODUCT!

Split-strum bar version of the SFP5 with dual independent strum bars, for more realistic action especially for bass players. Uses the same switches and has the same travel as the StrumFix Plus 5.

  • 4 sets of sealed, steel ball bearings (2 on each strum bar) for smooth, precise action with no slop.

  • Strum direction for 2nd strum bar can be configured with jumpers* on the PCB. Default is for the strum bars to operate in opposite directions (or “reversed”) for easier “alt strumming”.

*Changing the jumper settings requires some simple soldering. For details, see this page: SFP5 DUO Jumpers

If you want your DUO configured differently, just send us a note when you place the order.

DUO Jumper Settings

The DUO has “jumper blocks” on the circuit board that are used to configure the behavior of the strummer. There are basically two options:

  • Configure the DUO so each of the 2 strum bars activate the up or down switches in the same direction. This means when you strum down on either strum bar it will activate the “down” strum. This is the default setting.

  • Configure the DUO so the strum bars activate the switches in opposite directions. This means that if you strum down on both strum bars at the same time, one will activate the “down” strum, the other will activate the “up” strum.
