Happy 2024! Updates on inventory, Strum Fix Plus 4

Orders and Shipping

We got more orders than expected over the holidays and so it’s been a challenge to keep things in stock, especially since lots of suppliers were shut down for the Xmas and New Years.

Parts have been ordered and are on their way — should be here next week (Jan 9th) so stock should be replenished later that week.

We will be shipping more than once a week as we work to get caught up, so once things are back in stock you shouldn’t have to wait long for your order to ship.

I am also implementing a system so you can get notified when a product in back in stock.

Strum Fix Plus 4

We’re also waiting on more parts for the Strum Fix Plus 4 (SFP4), and I expect it to go on sale in the next week or so. I’ve built a pre-production test batch to see if there are any problems that come up when building them in quantity, and so far everything looks good.

I may start taking pre-orders so that we can better gauge how many to build up — leave a comment or drop me a line (guitar@bytearts.com) if you have any thoughts on this.

I’ve got another blog post almost done with more details and photos of the SFP4 — it should be posted in the next day or so.

The New Year

I’m really grateful for all the support you’ve given me over the last few years. I started doing this full-time starting in Sept ‘23, and while I’m a bit frustrated with how long it’s taken to get some things done, we’ve made great progress in the quality and reliability of our products. We’ve still got more work to do, and there’s some big things happening in 2024.

I get the feeling that interest in Rock Band (and similar games) is not going away anytime soon, and who knows, maybe we’ll even get some new games!

Rock on!
